About the event

On this precious midpoint between winter and spring, known in the ancient British Isles traditions as Imbolc, let us come together to celebrate Brigid, the Goddess and Saint of those lands, who heals, protects, inspires poets and blacksmiths, and protects livestock, and use our hands and voices to honor and remember our lineages.

Together Meagan Chandler will guide us in learning a song in Irish to honor Brigid and make Brigid’s Crosses out of reeds to bless our homes and loved ones. During this special gathering, we come together in a spirit of reverence and celebration, open to all, whether you are familiar with the traditions of Imbolc or are new to this sacred time. We will strive for an active and meaningful way to reconnect with Irish and British Isles ancestry, and to honor this unique moment in the wheel of the year, connecting with both the ancient and living energies…
